Frequently Asked Questions

HELP! I AM NEW TO YOGA...WHAT CLASS SHOULD I START WITH?

Worry not, we have classes for all abilities! If you are completely new to yoga then we would always recommend starting with a FOUNDATIONS class so you gain some understanding of the basic flow movements. The YIN is also great for all levels – this class which is based around holding stretches for longer than a minute to work deep into your muscles and relieving any tightness in your body.

BUT I HAVE PRACTICED VINYASA ELSEWHERE AND AM LOOKING FOR A MOREDYNAMIC CLASS... ?

Our most dynamic and challenging class would be the Vinyasa Flow. If you’re familiar withyour Sun salutations and are wanting a challenge, then this is the class for you. You may also want to try our Barre class – come have fun and feel the burn!

I HAVE AN INJURY - CAN I STILL DO YOGA?

We always ask that you consult your doctor first. We encourage you to let your teacher know if you have a condition or injury you might need to work around; they will offer advice and modifications. Yoga is proven to benefit many conditions ranging from chronic illness, sports injuries and pregnancy. The key is to listening to your body!

CAN I JUST TURN UP FOR A CLASS?

No – we ask that you always prebook the class you wish to attend. This is to ensure there isspace for you; classes may be fully booked. Studio doors will always open 15mins beforeclass. There will be no admission for latecomers.

HOW DO I BOOK?

If you haven’t registered, then hit the orange registration button at the top of our website to create an account. HOW DO I CANCEL MY BOOKING?

Please always cancel your booking if you are unable to attend a class. You can do so online by logging into your account. Please note there is a 2hr cancellation policy for all in-studio classes as stated in your booking confirmation email.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING/WEAR TO A STUDIO CLASS ?

We ask that you bring your own mat and props (Yoga blocks) and a yoga towel to cover your mat in case you work up a sweat. We also suggest bringing a bottle of water but recommend you drink before and after class and not during.

Yoga blocks, towels and water are all available for purchase at the studio.

As for what to wear; Yoga is practiced bare foot or you may choose to wear special grip yoga socks. Clothing wise; normal gym gear.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS?

We have lockers available for small items such as phones/wallets/keys.

We ask that bags are left in the changing rooms/outside the yoga room itself.
