Asana Alignment and the Art and Skills of Teaching Yoga
Humble, genuine and warm, Christian is inspired by his experience in a variety of styles of yoga. Born and raised in Brazil and initially trained in Ashtanga & Rocket Vinyasa Yoga, Christian found inspiration in the slower and intuitive style of Forrest Yoga. After travelling to India, his passion for history and philosophy of yoga was ignited, which led to a masters degree at SOAS University of London on the Traditions of Yoga, which he continues to share in his European retreats as well as his annual teacher trainings in Bali alongside co-teacher Marcela Mota.
Christian is inspired to nurture an environment where students feel safe to go deeper, journey inwards and have fun! His classes have creative sequences which explores many aspects of yoga – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – and stimulate students in experiencing how yoga can be incorporated into our day as tools to heal and enrich life.
Further, Christian uses the power of Native-American ceremony to inspire him to teach from a place of fullness, so his students are always welcomed and guided through his best quality of attention.
