Tiffany Joiner

Yoga Teacher

Tiffany worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor in Los Angeles before discovering her love of yoga during a backpacking trip through India. She completed her teacher training at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India in 2006.

Tiffany was the first yoga instructor at the first dedicated yoga studio in Dubai, teaching Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Power, antenatal and children’s yoga. In 2008, she fell off a balcony, broke her back, was paralysed from the waist down, and told she would never walk again.

Tiffany credits her yoga practice for defying the odds; since her injury, she has learned to walk again, travel to over 40 countries and have two children. She also completed the Opening Yoga adaptive yoga teacher training with Matthew Sanford in 2015 and has featured in the Daily Mail, Huffington Post and the BBC Ouch podcast.

After many years, Tiffany is thrilled to be back to teaching yoga again. She delivers a powerful but playful class, focusing on breath, alignment and technique, with a passion for encouraging her students to push beyond the boundaries of fear and perceived limitations.
